Tips on cooking grass-fed meat
"cook with care or chew like crazy"
There is abundant info on the web on how to cook grass-fed meat, there are also some great books out there, and of course most importantly there are even better parents, grand parents, and great grandparents who's wealth of knowledge on cooking could never be contained in a book. The most important thing to remember is never overcook grass-fed meat. Fat from grass-fed beef has a lower melting point than grain-fed beef so cook at low temperatures. A good rule of thumb is if you have to flip it more than once you need to turn down the heat. If you're like us you probably should take the steaks off the grill about 2 minutes before you think its done (We have a tendency to over cook steaks), and for goodness sakes if your cooking hamburgers or sausage patties don't squeeze the flavor out with the spatula!
